Who these terms are with

Jetway Pressure Washing and Cleaning Service, a sole proprietorship operated by Christopher Murdock and based in Hope Mills, North Carolina. Referred to below as Jetway.

Estimates

Estimates are free and carry no obligation. An estimate is based on the property and the surfaces described at the time it is given. If the actual condition differs materially from what was described or visible, the price may need to change, and you will be told before any additional work starts rather than after.

An estimate is not a fixed price for work outside its scope, and estimates are valid for a reasonable period rather than indefinitely.

Scheduling and weather

Exterior cleaning is weather dependent. Jobs may be moved for rain, freezing conditions or wind that makes application unsafe or ineffective. Where that happens you will be contacted and rescheduled to the earliest workable slot.

If you need to cancel or move a booking, as much notice as you can give is appreciated.

Access and preparation

To work safely and effectively, Jetway needs access to the areas being cleaned, access to an outside water supply unless agreed otherwise, and clear space around the surfaces. You are asked to close windows and doors, move vehicles clear of the work area, and secure or remove loose or fragile items outside.

Please point out in advance anything that needs particular care: damaged or loose siding, failed window seals, older or lifting paint, exterior electrical, sensitive planting, well or septic locations, and pets that will be outside.

Condition of the property

Cleaning reveals what is underneath it. Existing damage such as failed sealant, previously damaged surfaces, oxidised or chalking paint, or wear that was hidden under soiling may become more visible after a wash. Jetway is not responsible for pre existing conditions of that kind, and where any are noticed before work starts they will be raised with you.

Where Jetway causes damage through its own work, tell Chris promptly so it can be put right.

Results

Most staining comes off. Some does not, and honest examples include deep rust, paint overspray, oil that has soaked into porous concrete, and etching where a surface has already been damaged. Where a stain is unlikely to fully lift, you will be told that before the work rather than afterwards.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless something different has been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the time of booking.
